The Core Mental Muscles

Saboteur Intercetor Muscle

Your Saboteurs generate all your negative emotions, including stress, anxiety, self-doubt, anger, avoidance, procrastination, insensitivity or discontent.

Sage Muscle

Your Sage handles challenges with a clear and calm mind, and positive emotions. When you are in Sage, your thoughts, feelings and actions are aligned and life seems plenty of opportunities.

Self-command Muscle

When you are in full command of your mind you can choose to not stress out over what you can’t control, push away selfdoubts, recover from disappointments immediately, and spend less time in negativity.

How Does The Program Works

Daily Practice

15 minutes/day of app-guided practice enables you to establish mental muscles (neural pathways). These exercises are bite-sized to fit your busy schedule and customized based on how you self-sabotage.

Weekly Focus: 1-hour training module, weekly

Weekly hour-long video delivers deep experiential exploration of the week’s focus. You’ll feel inspired and energized to practice during the week in order to sustain the benefits experienced during the video sessions.

Measurable Progress

You’ll feel motivated through instant feedback on exactly how much progress you’re making towards building the 3 core muscles of mental fitness. Brain rewiring may be visible in MRI imaging within 8 weeks.

Community Support

We help you establish a support and accountability group with other program participants. Research has shown this to be a critical success factor for establishing lasting new positive habits of the mind.

Before start

You get set up to enter the program.

Week 0

Registration, onboarding and warm-up

The week prior to program start, you will register, pay the registration fee, receive your key to download the PQ app and register in the PQ app. You start reading the Positive Intelligence e-book, practice PQ reps at your leisure and participate in the warm-up session to meet your coach and the other mates in your pod. You also think about what might be some realistic and valuable objectives of your participation in this program.

Foundation 6-week

You get to build a foundation of mental fitness by strengthening three critical mental muscles to shift the balance of power from your inner Saboteurs (your negative self) to your inner Sage (your positive self).

Week 1

Self-Command Muscle

Through a breakthrough process called PQ Reps, you get to boost your Self-Command muscle.  Each PQ Rep only takes 10 seconds and can be done with eyes open or closed.  With each PQ Rep, you develop greater mastery over your own mind, quiet the negative, and activate the positive region of your brain.

Week 2

Explore The Judge

For this entire week, you'll intercept and weaken the most damaging Saboteur, the Judge. You discover how judging yourself, others, and circumstances is a key source of your stress and quite damaging to your long term performance.

Week 3

Accomplice Saboteurs

This week you intercept and weaken the top accomplice to your Judge Saboteur. Your accomplice saboteur may be any of these: Avoider, Controller, Hyper-Achiever, Hyper-Rational,Hyper-Vigilant, Pleaser, Restless, Stickler, Victim.

Week 4

Sage Perspective

After weakening your Saboteurs, it is now time to strengthen your Sage, the counterpart to your Saboteurs. Your Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, generates all your positive emotions, and achieves peak performance through a calm and clear mind.

Week 5

Boost Your Sage Powers (Empathise)

The Sage region of the brain enables the 5 primary powers. Analogous to the 3 primary colours, these 5 powers recombine to form all of the emotional intelligence competencies considered crucial to professional success.

Week 6

Boost Your Sage Powers (Activate)

Take Clear-Headed, Laser-Focused Action. In our final week, you use your Sage's Navigate and Activate powers to take clear-headed, laser-focused, decisive action.

Grow or Maintain

You are now equipped with a new healthy life habit (PQ reps) and fresh perspectives nurturing your resilience. Continue to build your core mental muscles with either maintain or grow your actual resilience.

Week 7

1-on-1 coaching session

You meet your coach in a 60-minute  1-on-1 session to discuss strategically your future approach on reaching your desired level of resilience. You have the possibility to shift into the GROW program and work in a 1-on-1 relationship with your coach applied to your own needs, for the next 6 months.
